PSAT Information

PCHS will be giving the PSAT to all 10th grade students free of charge on Tuesday, October 26, as part of our efforts to improve college and career readiness.

The PSAT is a practice test that prepares students for success on the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). The SAT is a commonly required college placement test.

Juniors who would like to take the PSAT may qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Competition. Any junior who is interested should sign up in the counseling office. The fee for juniors, and any other student who is not a 10th grader, is $18.

The deadline to register for the PSAT is Wednesday, Oct. 6. Registration is only required for students who are not currently in 10th grade.
